Timeline for Admission Appeals for Year 7 – September 2019
Following national offer day of 1st March 2019, if you named Kents Hill Park School as one of your preferences and were unsuccessful, you have a right to appeal against the decision to an independent appeal panel.
Following the initial allocation of places for Year 7 in September 2019, all unsuccessful applicants will be sent a letter providing further details as to why it wasn’t possible to allocate a place.
The appeals timetable* for Kents Hill Park School for students transferring to Year 7 in September 2019 will be as follows:

Year 3 Entry for September 2019
For Children born between 1 September 2011 and 31 August 2012 who currently attend an infant school and are seeking a junior school place.

In year admissions refer to applications made at any other time after the initial September entry into Year 3. Parents/Carers should be aware that Kents Hill Park School is an oversubscribed school with more applicants than places available. Please note that when a place does become available it is allocated strictly in accordance with the school’s admissions criteria.
Applications for an in year admission should be made on Kents Hill Park Year 3 application form.
In Year Admissions to Year 7

Admission arrangements for Kents Hill Park School
The consultation on the proposed 2020 Admission Arrangements for Kents Hill Park School for September 2020 closed on 25th January 2019. The Local Governing Body subsequently reviewed the policies and updated the definition relating to Looked After Children. There were no further changes.
