Mrs Saika Disson

Teacher of Maths

Coming from France at the age of 14 and falling straight into preparing for my GCSE’s while learning to speak English, I found comfort in studying Mathematics. As an individual who speaks five languages, I found Mathematics was just like a language which is spoken universally which has stemmed my interest to continue to study Mathematics for my degree. Over the years I realised, through my own struggles to achieve my goals, I wanted to make a difference for the younger generation by becoming a teacher.

Outside of school, I love to travel the world and have been to many countries rich in culture, history and delicious food! While being a baker of the family and a food enthusiast, I love to share what I make with friends and family. Other than that, I enjoy dance and DIY.
