Deputy Headteacher’s Welcome

Welcome to the Primary phase of Kents Hill Park All-through school.

We know it as a real privilege to be able to see a child’s whole school journey from start to finish, when they step through our door for their first day in Early Years at four years old and leave us on their final day in Year 11.

We have an ambitious knowledge-rich curriculum, that has been developed collectively by our Primary and Secondary teams, and provides exceptional all-through learning both within and beyond the classroom. It is delivered by the very best teaching and support staff and is enhanced further by the school’s exceptional facilities and extra-curricular opportunities.

We know how important the years spent at primary school are in preparing a child for their move to the secondary phase. Being all-through means this transition is blended within our day-to-day school life and our children are familiar with staff, pupils and facilities at both sites.

All phases of the school share the same high expectations for behaviour and learning. Children learn best when they know what is expected of them and so consistent rules and routines play a very important part in our school day.

We are proud of the community we have built since we opened in 2018 and see parents and carers as partners. We want you to be involved in your child’s school life as much as possible and open our doors throughout the year for you to celebrate your child’s successes and play a key part in their learning and development.
