Children Starting School for the First Time - September 2025
The Local Authority co-ordinates the application process for children starting school for the first time. (Applications will not be accepted at the school).Â
The deadline for applications was 15 January 2025.
National Offer Day was on 16 April 2025.

Timeline for Admission Appeals for Year R – September 2025
Following national offer day of Wednesday, 16th April 2025, if you named Kents Hill Park Primary School as one of your preferences and were unsuccessful, you have a right to appeal against the decision to an independent appeal panel. Â
The appeals timetable* for Kents Hill Park Primary School for students starting in Year R in September 2025 is shown below. Both the Stage 1 and Stage 2 individual hearings will be held virtually, with meeting invites issued by the Clerk to the Independent Appeal Panel nearer the time.

Requests for appeal forms must be made by noon on Tuesday, 20th May 2025.Â
*Please note it may not be possible to include within this timetable any appeals that are lodged after the deadline.

Year R - as of 21st March 2025 there are currently 2 places in year R at Kents Hill Park Primary School.Â

Primary In-Year Application 2024-2025
Please note that unless you are applying for a place in year R you will initially receive a turn down letter as all the other current year groups are full. Once you have received the turn down letter directly from the Kingsbridge Educational Trust you can request for your child(ren) to be placed on the waiting lists.Â
The waiting lists are ranked via the oversubscription criteria. Length of time on the waiting list is not a factor in offering a place. The waiting list is held in place until the end of the summer term, closing end of July 2025.Â
Being on the waiting list does not guarantee a place at the school.
Year 7 Admissions for September 2025
Applications closed on 31 October 2024.
National Offer Day was on 1 March 2025.
This is for children born between 1st September 2013 and 31st August 2014.

Timeline for Admission Appeals for Year 7 – September 2025
Following national offer day on Monday, 3rd March 2025 if you named Kents Hill Park School as one of your preferences and were unsuccessful, you will be sent a letter from the school providing further details as to why it wasn’t possible to allocate a place.
All unsuccessful applicants have a right to appeal against the decision not to offer a place to an independent appeal panel.Â
The appeals timetable* for Kents Hill Park School for students transferring to Year 7 in September 2025 is shown below. Stage 1 hearing and Stage 2 individual hearings will be held virtually, with meeting invites issued by the Clerk to the Independent Appeal Panel nearer the time.

The consultation on the proposed admission arrangements for Kents Hill Park School for September 2025 is now closed. The Local Governing Body would like to thank everyone who responded. The Local Governing Body reviewed the consultation responses and decided that the admission arrangements for Primary, Year 7 and In-Year (Years 7-11) should be adopted as proposed.
