Kents Hill Park Nursery September 2026
Kents Hill Park Nursery currently offers provision for children aged 3 and 4. The main in-take for Nursery is the September following your child's third birthday.
This process is for children born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023.
Applications open 1st November 2025 for starting in September 2026. The initial application window will be open until noon on Friday, 13th March 2026.
Nursery Open Morning will be held on Monday 2nd March at 9.15am.
Allocations for the Nursery will be made by Friday, 27th March 2026. We will email post out allocation information to all successful applicants by Friday, 27th March.
If the Nursery is unable to offer a place to your child, you will be informed in writing. There is no right of appeal. The Nursery will hold a continued interest list and you may request for your details to be included.

Kents Hill Park Nursery Application Form - September 2026
To complete the application form, which is an editable PDF, the applicant needs to save the form on to their device (phone/ tablet/laptop). Complete the form and then press save to save the completed form. Then attach the completed form and supporting documentation to an email and send to [email protected]

Please note that the application process is not a first come first served basis. All applications received by the closing of the initial application window, which is at noon on Friday, 13th March 2026. will be processed.
Offers are subject to the availability of places. The main intake for Nursery is the September following your child's third birthday.
We aim to respond to your application within 10 school days of receipt with a confirmation of receipt of Nursery application letter. Allocation of places for the Nursery (September 2026) will take place by Friday 27th March.
Please note that the admissions office is open term time only.
It should be noted that a place in the nursery class does not automatically guarantee admission to the Primary school. Parents should refer to the Primary School admissions policy for further advice on applying for a place in Reception.

From September 2025, Kents Hill Park Nursery will offer provision for children aged 3 and 4.
The main in-take for Nursery is the September following your child's third birthday. This September we will be welcoming children born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022 to join the Nursery from September 2025.

In year Primary Application September 2025-26
The application form is an editable PDF. Save the form to the device you are using, then complete the form and press save. The completed form should be emailed with the supporting documentation to [email protected].
The primary school has spaces in Year 1 and Year 3. Applications for all other Year groups will receive a turn down letter once the application has been processed. You will then have the opportunity to place your child(ren) on the waiting list for the 2025/2026 academic year. This builds the waiting lists for each year group for September.
Once the school has returned from the school holidays in September then should there be any vacancies in the year group places will be offered from the top of the waiting list.
Parent/Carers should be aware that Kents Hill Park School is an oversubscribed school with more applicants than places available and each year many parent/carers are unsuccessful in their application for a place. Please note that when a place does become available it is allocated strictly in accordance with the school’s admissions criteria.
Kents Hill Park School maintains a waiting list throughout the academic year. The waiting list will be ranked in accordance with the over-subscription criteria and length of time on the list will not be a factor in offering a place. This means that children will move up and down the list as other children are or removed. Being on the waiting list does not guarantee a place at the school. Waiting lists close at the end of the academic year.

Following national offer day of Thursday, 16th April 2026, if you named Kents Hill Park Primary School as one of your preferences and were unsuccessful, you have a right to appeal against the decision to an independent appeal panel.
The appeals timetable* for Kents Hill Park Primary School for students starting in Year R in September 2026 is shown below. Both the Stage 1 and Stage 2 individual hearings will be held virtually, with meeting invites issued by the Clerk to the Independent Appeal Panel nearer the time.

Starting secondary/upper school in September 2026
Applications closed on 31 October 2025.
National Offer Day is on 2 March 2026. Late applications need to be made to Milton Keynes City Council.
This is for children born between 1st September 2014 and 31st August 2015.

Year 7 September 2026 Kents Hill Park School Admissions Appeals
Following national offer day on Monday, 2nd March 2026 if you named Kents Hill Park School as one of your preferences and were unsuccessful, you will be sent a letter from the school providing further details as to why it wasn’t possible to allocate a place.
All unsuccessful applicants have a right to appeal against the decision not to offer a place to an independent appeal panel.

2025 Admission Arrangements
The consultation on the proposed admission arrangements for Kents Hill Park School for September 2025 is now closed. The Local Governing Body would like to thank everyone who responded. The Local Governing Body reviewed the consultation responses and decided that the admission arrangements for Primary, Year 7 and In-Year (Years 7-11) should be adopted as proposed.
