Miss Claire Randell

Teacher of English

I am delighted to be joining Kents Hill at this exciting time in its growth as a school. Being here from the second year, welcoming new students and being part of the school’s development is a real privilege. I have been teaching in the Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire area for almost 20 years, having studied English Literature at The University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

It was my love of Literature that first inspired me to become a teacher. Over the years, I have realised teaching is the only job I would ever want to do, as you can make a difference to the children you teach. During my career, I have enjoyed teaching all secondary key stages, including English Literature and Media Studies to A Level.

In my spare time, I love to spend time with family – my little girl and my partner, who is also a teacher. We spend as much time as we can together, enjoying the great outdoors! I also, not surprisingly, love to disappear into a good book and go to the theatre when I can.
