Miss Clare Randell

Assistant Headteacher

Teacher of English

I am delighted to be a part of Kents Hill Park School. Being here from the second year, welcoming new students and being part of the school’s development has been a real privilege. I have been teaching in the Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire area for almost a long time, having studied English Literature at The University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

It was my love of Literature that first inspired me to become a teacher. Over the years, I have realised teaching is the only job I would ever want to do, as you can make a difference to the children you teach. During my career, I have enjoyed teaching all secondary key stages, including English Literature and Media Studies to A Level. I am committed to sharing and developing good practice in teaching and learning, and to helping all members of our school community to thrive.

In my spare time, I love to spend time with family – my little girl and my partner, who is also a teacher. We spend as much time as we can together, enjoying the great outdoors! I also, not surprisingly, love to disappear into a good book and go to the theatre when I can.
