Mrs Elisabeth Scott

Secondary TA

I am now in my 22nd year of working in support, in an educational setting, mostly at local secondary schools (KHP will be my 5th but my first ‘all through school) but also in the Secure Estate for a period of time. I have supported in SEN for what seems like a time immemorial but I have gathered such a rich knowledge and lived experience In this field which has proved invaluable especially so when looking after my 6 adorable grandchildren (though not all at once!)-4 of whom are on the Autistic Spectrum scale, in varying degrees of need. I very much value kindness, patience and understanding in all life settings and actively encourage those positive traits in our students.

Away from work, I am married to Tom, we have 3 grown up children and we are both local Walton Parish guardians and also Parks Trust volunteer rangers and can often be seen brandishing our lofty litter pickers! I am keen to help our community thrive and improve and also volunteer for local charity, Emily’s Star where as self appointed chief sewist, I ‘make do and mend’ new but damaged toys and clothes donated to the charity. In my ‘spare’ spare time I love spending time at my locally based allotment and make delicious jams and chutneys from the produce grown.
