24th November 2020

Dear Parent/Carer,

I wrote to you on 6th November 2020 to invite nominations for the vacancy of a parent governor.

I am delighted to say that there has been a good response and there are five candidates for the vacancy. This means we must now hold a ballot.  Each candidate has submitted a personal statement these are attached to the email on the ballot paper.

Each parent can submit one vote, regardless of the number of students you have attending the school.  You may vote for up to one candidate.  Each parent is entitled to vote and must use separate forms.

You can submit your vote by completing the this fillable PDF: Kents Hill Park Ballot Paper 2020

Alternatively, if you require a hard copy please arrange to collect it from the school office. Please return the completed form to the school office, by hand, or email office@kentshillpark.school. Your vote is anonymous and you can only vote once.

The election will be decided by a simple majority of votes cast. In the event of a tie, lots will be drawn.  The deadline for voting is Tuesday, 8th December at 3pm.  Any votes received after this deadline will not be counted.

When the election has been completed, I will let you know the outcome. If in the meantime you have any queries, please contact Governor Services at the school.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Julie Gale

Clerk to the Local Governing Body
